My journey has led me through a diverse array of projects, where I've honed my expertise in optimizing workflows, providing technical support, and enhancing the functionality of various web applications.
During my time at the University of Edinburgh, I contributed to the development and maintenance of several web applications using PHP and Python/Django, as well as successfully migrating institutional sites from Drupal 7 to Drupal 8. I'm excited to showcase my work and demonstrate how I tailor web solutions to meet unique needs.
Pure Widget
Pure Widget is an application used by Edinburgh University staff to discover researchers and create dynamic feeds of their highlighted publications and research activities.
Snapshot
A web crawler built to crawl Drupal sites under the Edinburgh University domain and provide information on page structure, age and cookies. As well as a site map of all the pages connected.
URL Shortener
A URL shortener that shortens long URLs belonging to the ed.ac.uk domain to shorter links containing edin.ac instead, making them much easier to use and share.
Pickaxe
PickAxe is an argument search engine that ranks and retrieve arguments based on relevance to specific keywords and is also capable of manipulating argument data and visualising it through argument maps.
